The purpose of the project is to grow the online audience for art and artists. This is a community driven project, uniquely a "ground up" and independent initiative. I enjoyed this book but thought that the author worked too hard to include too many real people of the times - artists in Paris, members of the Irish struggle, I was disappointed.
